The Slompa Legacy: Chapter 5

The next day, I woke up quite early, around 5. I gazed at the sky, filled with wonderment. It was beautiful.
A shower! Great! I felt so smelly! I couldn't wait to get inside and begin to shower.
I was quick to shower. It felt great to be clean again!
I took a nice long shower. It felt amazing. By the time I was done, the day had truly begun, and I was feeling lucky again!
After my shower, I sat down with some tasty bread-and-jam. Yum!

I went to the park. I liked it there, what with all the plants. To my delight, this nice seed was here! I couldn't wait to begin gardening. Freash produce would be wonderful!
I didn't know what this one was. I sighed, and put it in my pocket anyways.  Someday, I would.

I was also harvesting some tasty food from the trees. They'd make some good lunch one of these days! If I could sell some of my produce, that would make good money. Dear flying berry monster, I must sound terribly like my mom right now! I chuckled. We were related for sure.

I was gonna study gardening, but instead, I met Molly here, and she worked with me. We began to chat. She had a little daughter named Sandi, that was the baby she held. She told me she didn't know who Sandi's dad was. Hope that never happens to me.
We chatted for a good long time. Spent some time getting to know here. Liked her, that was for sure.
We gossiped. It felt great to be the Gossiper instead of the Gossipi.
I  looked at my watch. Two O'clock already? I gasped. I was gonna  be late for work! I quickly changed my uniform. Running outside, I called a cab.

I got in the cab. "Hogan's Deep-Fried Diner!" I shouted to the cab. Lucky the car was fast, and we got there on time.
I spent most of my time meeting and chatting with coworkers while I brought orders and ingredients to the higher-ranking chefs. I was already getting known, because Jared Frio- one of my coworkers and higher-ranking chefs- had stopped me before I left to go get Table 5's order. "Give me some of those hotdogs you make. The grapevine told me they're great! I'll pay..." I smiled and nodded. I felt stressted, tired and hungry after work. But I could not have felt more proud. I'd earned money. I'd buy myself a stove! I was Alia Rose Slompa!
I had to go and eat at the resturant. I couldn't make food now! It tasted wonderful. My exqisute taste buds picked up the recipe for the food I was having. I know knew a new recipe.
When I got home, I was quick to collapase on the bed.

As I drifted into sleep, I was once again not visited by my late family.
